Cross-stitch kit Citrus Biscornu by Satsuma Street

Sew a wonderful Citrus Biscornu pin cushion in fresh citrus colours for yourself or as a gift. It’s a so-called biscornu, octagonal in shape. Project starts from two 2D squares by stitching according to the two cross-stitch patterns. Then you sew a green thread frame along the outside perimeter, which will be used when sewing the twp squares together into their final 3D shape. The result is glorious brain gymnastics. This kit contains everything you need to get started sewing your Citrus Biscornu, all you need in addition is a scissors. We carry embroidery scissors, too, if you need a pair. KIT CONTAINS: • Satsuma Street pattern: multicolour printed pattern (one per pin-cushion half), codes for DMC embroidery threads, US Letter-sized heavy cardstock wrapped in closed plastic wrapping • Zweigart fabric: 28-count Cashel linen, lightly yellow cream white, two pieces ca 19×19 cm (edges can be trimmed a bit prior to sewing 3D together) • DMC mouliné embroidery thread: 11 full skeins (8 m/colour) • John James needle: size 24, gold-plated, single-pack wrapped KIT DOESN’T CONTAIN: • Filler: you can use synthetic wadding or natural material in pin cushion • Button or similar for unique final touch
