The Stilettos come with a quality nitrogen pressure filled damper system, added suspension travel and a dual spring set-up. One set for the subtle bumps that gives it the plush ride, the other set kicks-in when things get seriously rough and controls bottoming-out. Note: On 04-13 Sportsters H-D changed the rear master cylinder set-up. Only with these longer 15″ shocks there is a clearance issue between the belt drive and the ‘bell crank’, the system that operates the rear master cylinder, preventing a bolt-on installation. From 2014-up another change was made at H-D and the rear master cylinder actuation is no longer an issue.
