Cetirizine diHCl Teva 10 mg is an anti-allergic medicine.In adults and children aged 6 years and older, Cetirizine diHCl Teva 10 mg is intended for:The relief of nasal and eye complaints associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis.The relief of persistent skin rash with severe itching and formation of bumps (hives) of unknown cause (urticaria).Composition of Teva Cetirizine diHCI 10 mg: Each tablet (=daily dose) contains:Cetirizine dihydrochloride 10 mgIngredients of Teva Cetirizine diHCI 10 mg: LACTOSE monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, titanium dioxide (E171), hypromellose (E464) and macrogol.Use of Teva Cetirizine diHCI 10 mg: The tablets should be swallowed with a glass of liquid.The tablet can be divided into 2 equal doses.Read the package leaflet before use.Note the maximum daily doseAdults and adolescents aged 12 years and over:The recommended dose is 10 mg (1 tablet) once daily.Other forms of this medicine may be more suitable for children; ask your doctor or pharmacist.Use in children aged 6 to 12 years:The recommended dose is 5 mg twice daily (half a tablet twice daily).Other forms of this medicine may be more suitable for children; ask your doctor or pharmacist.Patients with renal impairmentPatients with moderate renal impairment are advised to use 5 mg once daily.If you have severe renal impairment, contact your doctor or pharmacist who will adjust the dose accordingly.If your child has severe kidney problems, contact your doctor or pharmacist who will adjust the dose according to your child's needs.If you feel that the effect of this medicine is too weak or too strong, consult your doctor.
