Of all the salts available, Celtic salt has the lowest sodium content of 89.7%. This makes Celtic salt softer and gentler than other salts. Celtic Sea Salt has a grey colour because the Sea Salt mixes with various clay minerals. This makes Celtic Sea Salt more mineral-rich than other forms of salt. Because the salt is not washed, all the Minerals are retained. The clay marshes also ensure that Celtic Sea Salt is naturally purified and therefore pollution-free.
